Beaucarnea, or Nolina as it is sometimes called, is often known as the Elephant’s foot. It has a swollen thick brown stem that stores water.

Site: Normal light. The plant may be located in a shaded place if it’s from time to time out of the sun.
Water: In summer 2 times a week to maintain soil moisture. In spring and autumn watering once a week, and in winter once every 2 weeks, to allow the plant to dry rest period.
